ULS athletes get conference recognition

University Liggett School student athletes who participated in spring sports were recognized by the Metro Conference and Southeast Michigan Lacrosse Association for their accomplishments on the field.

Varsity baseball sophomore Dominic Jamett, senior Thomas Graves and senior Andrew Malaski were named to the Metro Conference first team. Sophomore Joseph Simon and senior Jeremiah Manning were named to the second team.

Senior Marc Hames was named to the Metro Conference first team for his accomplishments with the varsity golf team.

Girls varsity softball senior Megan Amicucci was named to the first team and senior Kristin Peterson was named to the second team.

Girls varsity soccer took home seven Metro Conference honors. Seniors Charlotte Waldmeir and Whitney Baubie and junior Paige Counsman were named to the Metro Conference first team. Senior Alexandra Bol, sophomore Mariah Passalacqua, junior Hannah Baird and sophomore Grace Edmonds were named to the second team.

The Southeast Michigan Lacrosse Association named junior Natalie Boll to the league’s first team and juniors Maggie Zinkel and Elizabeth Smith to the second team.
