Art on the Block seeks artist participants
for Grosse Pointe's Greatest Block Party

The Grosse Pointe Village Association is seeking qualified artists to participate in Art on the Block at Grosse Pointe’s Greatest Block Party. The Block Party, a late-summer festival of food, music, art and children’s activities, takes place Sept. 11-12 on Kercheval Avenue in the Village, Grosse Pointe City.

Over 40 artists participated in the 2009 Art on the Block and there is space this year for up to 70 exhibitors. The non-refundable reservation fee for the juried two-day art fair is $150 and does not include a tent. Please contact the Art on the Block coordinator, Lisa Amori, at 313-881-6305 if you are interested in receiving an application or visit the Village website. Application deadline is Aug. 31.
