Congratulations to the Juggernauts,
champions in Royal Oak tournament

Another Little League triumph this weekend, as the Grosse Pointe Farms/City 11u Juggernauts were crowned Champions of the Royal Oak 14th Annual Invitational Tournament Sunday (Aug. 7). The Juggernauts defeated the SF Athletics (Cleveland, Ohio) 8 - 5 in the championship game. Strong pitching from Elijah Sterin (win) and Jack Doerer (save) paved the way. Key hits from Micheal Rivard, Stevie Cavera and David Scupholm sparked the offense for an early lead. The team played great defense on the way to the Championship. Pictured, Patrick Bourke, Jack Doerer, Soti Michalos, Elijah Sterin, Noah Davey, Max Carrier, David Toth, Micheal Rivard, Christian Ilitch, David Scupholm, Stevie Cavera. Coaches Joe Toth, Atanas Ilitch, Tom Scupholm. Manager Jerry Bourke is not pictured.
