Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church names
permanent minister, to start in August

Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church will welcome a new permanent minister later this year, its first in 27 years.

The congregation voted Sunday (April 10) to call the Rev. Shelley Page to Grosse Pointe from her current post as interim minister in Flint.

With 30 years of Unitarian Universalist lay and ministerial leadership experience, Rev. Page, left, has served congregations in Delaware and New York. She was ordained by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Canandaigua, New York, the congregation she helped to found in 1993.

She will begin serving the Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church in August 2011.

The Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church is located at 17150 Maumee in the City of Grosse Pointe. Sunday services begin at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.
