Built in 1958, Brownell is one of the Pointes’ newer schools. It is one of three middle schools in the Grosse Pointe school district, located at 260 Chalfonte Ave. in the Farms. The school’s 40 teachers serve about 670 sixth- through eighth-graders.
Students at Brownell Middle School have a wide array of resources at their disposal, both in technology and culture.
