Defer Elementary School at a glance

As the oldest school building in the Grosse Pointe Public School System, students and faculty at Defer Elementary have a legacy to live up to as part of a district known for its high-quality education.

Principal Ron Wardie said Defer’s history isn’t its only distinction; it is also the second-largest elementary school in the district at 15425 Kercheval in the Park. It has had an average of 465 students in the past, but now enrollment has dropped to roughly 420. read more...
